Faculty
Leadership in this academy is not a reward. It’s a service. Academia Venatorum needs committed R4s and R3s who are ready to do the hard work of inspiring, educating, and molding the next generation of 175 players.
All faculty are expected to interact with cadets every day, mentor them, guide them, help them, keep the chat alive and morale high.
Commanding Officer (CO)

Sets the tone and goals for the academy. Acts as the final authority on decisions. Represents the academy in dealings with outside alliances and server administrators.
Executive Officer (XO)

Assists the Commanding Officer, manages all other officers, keeps the academy working on its mission, collaborates with outside alliances as needed, manages disciplinary actions.
Operations Chief

Schedules all events (Tyrant, Siege, Canyon Clash), manages votes and reminders. Works with alliances to schedule training drills. In charge of the academy calendar. Issues frequent reminders via chat, notice, and email.
Works on ways to find, attract, and invite new cadets. Ensures everybody completes their applications and understands the expectations of this academy. Interviews and selects those who would be the best fit for our structure.
Organizes VS, reminds cadets what to do via email and notices, works with the Documentarian to track participation and identify struggling cadets and proactively helps them to do better.
Canyon Clash General
Position Filled / Tunk94
Maintains and develops Canyon Clash strategy, assigns commanders and cadets to squads, runs the entire event.
Manages Glory War, develops strategy for offense and defense, appoints leaders for both squads (invading and defending). Coordinates with neighboring alliances to get new ideas and collaborate on building position.
SVS General

Sets up strategies for State Ruler events, including placing markers, emailing plans, coordinating with other alliances. Scrimmages and drills can be set up with alliances as well.
Organizes and creates drills for cadets to practice. For example, coordinating with an outside alliance to practice hunting for Enemy Buster. Or learning how to kill troops “politely.” And so on.
Keeps track of cadets progress and growth. This position requires technical skill to set up spreadsheets so that details can be easily accessed and visualized. Also required to help keep website up to date with new blogs (provided by players), tutorials, and more.
Recruits and commands squads of 5 on Enemy Buster days to train cadets, score points, increase kills, and secure resources.
Morale Officer
Position Filled / Hunahuna
Ensures that all cadets are active, engaged, and in a good mood. Notices when somebody isn’t participating or when their vibe changes, and finds out why and how we can be helpful.
Works with a small set of cadets to personally guide their progress, encourage good habits, and celebrate their achievements. Partners with the Morale Officer when problems arise.
Learn everything there is to learn about whatever the “next” season is, and help document what’s important for everybody to know and help teach others.
Studies various in-game offers (including those on Last-Z.com), keeps everybody informed about the best strategies both for spenders and F2P, makes sure reward codes are distributed.
